Yes, 12 miles before 6:58 am. For me personally it was not the best run. I twisted my ankle around mile two and was kind of in a funk after that. I think more than anything I was hitting the wall. This past weekend was fun but I felt burnt out. I enjoyed the company while running and I am thankful for friends who are willing to push me even though I am in a crappy mood. I am glad we did it, I had thought of only doing 10 but I can't give up at mile 24.2 so I pushed through and did the 12, it wasn't pretty but it's done!
Tomorrow I am thinking of heading up to the track with some ladies. I haven't touched a track in months. So we'll see. I also may hit the pool. We'll have to see what happens the rest of the day.
For now--ice, ice, ice!
Tomorrow will be a new day.
